All our wood is processed into 8 to 10-inch logs and seasoned in metal cages to allow for maximum airflow. The cage in the photo is 0.5m square or the equivalent to a bulk bag often used for aggregates.

Some of our logs are shorter / longer than the standard 8 to 10 inches, please let us know when ordering if you have a small stove or require larger logs.

We offer free delivery within the Knaresborough and Harrogate area. Logs are delivered loose but we’re happy to help you move them into your garage or log store if for whatever reason you are unable to do this.

Fresh wood chip is good for paths or children’s play areas. It’s not ideal for flower beds or borders due to it taking nitrogen from the soil as it rots down.

Old wood chip, however, which has rotted down for approximately 3 to 9 months is ideal for flower beds and borders. This helps feed the soil and suppresses weeds.
