Firewood logs
All our wood is processed into 8 to 10-inch logs and seasoned in metal cages to allow for maximum airflow. The cage in the photo is 0.5m square or equivalent to a bulk bag often used for aggregates.
Some of our logs are shorter / longer than the standard 8 to 10 inches; please let us know when ordering if you have a small stove or require larger logs.
Please call us for more information and prices for our seasoned hardwood logs and softwood logs.
We offer free delivery within the Knaresborough and Harrogate area. Logs are delivered loose, but we’re happy to help you move them into your garage or log store if, for whatever reason, you are unable to do this.
Wood chippings
Fresh wood chips are good for paths or children’s play areas. They’re not ideal for flower beds or borders because they take nitrogen from the soil as they rot down.
Old wood chips, however, which have rotted down for approximately 3 to 9 months, are ideal for flower beds and borders. This helps feed the soil and suppresses weeds.
Delivered per tipper van load, approximately 3m cubed. This is equivalent to 6 bulk bags.
